Meaningless by Design

Life’s meaninglessness is by design, resolved only through God’s grace. Life feels meaningless without Him because we were designed for His presence.
Jesus as the Answer: Jesus, as the eternal Son of God, is the only infinite, perfect solution to our finite, broken condition. His eternal priesthood (Hebrews 7) and once-for-all sacrifice (Hebrews 7:27) address the depth of human need in a way no temporary, flawed human priest ever could.
Hebrews 7, 8 Psalm 28
23 The former priests, on the one hand, existed in greater numbers because they were prevented by death from continuing; 24 Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently. 25 Therefore He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. 26 For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens; 27 who has no daily need, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the sins of the people, because He did this once for all time when He offered up Himself. 28 For the Law appoints men as high priests who are weak, but the word of the oath, which came after the Law, appoints a Son, who has been made perfect forever.

This speaks to me somehow by reminding me that i am inpermanat - finine. Many have come before me, in order to help scantif me before God - the sheer magantiude of what needed to be done in order to become right with God was so great.

We had to just keep replacing them! Churning through saint after saint
24 Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently. 25 Therefore He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
This is why we needed Jesus - an infinite solution (grace an redemption) to a finite problem (ourselves).
This is why I say / heard it said before that there is an infinite sized hole in our hearts, that can only be filled by an infinitely sized God. If life seems meaninglyess, void, and unobtainable, that is becase that is by desgin - and once you understand the limits of yourself (your finite-ness) that is when you realize that it is only by the grace of God can you go on living.

How cool for God to say "What you once thought was very cool ie me physically being around you, saving you from Egypt, producing mana for you, etc. is going to look lame compared to what I am going to do ie be with you all the time everywhere 24/7 "

The Bible has lots of block logic (two things being true that contradict eachother and yet still works toghter ie Jesus is fully God and fully human) so its nice to see a very straight forward if this then that kind of statment - logical steps for human existacne.
IF you belive in the Lord God, THEN He has become your strength and your shield. SINCE THAT IS TRUE, that means you trust in Him and you are helped by Him. THEREFORE, you should be joyus! God is with YOU helping YOU. AND SO you should sing and praise God!
truth transcends human categories. This balance invites us to trust Him fully.
